The robot recovery feature is a necessary and helpful way to safely recover the robot after a collision, or when unsure of how to proceed after an unexpected occurrence. The robot may force you to run the recovery after a collision, and may not allow you to restart until you have done so.
- Press the button that says “ROBOT RECOVERY OFF”. The button should change state to read “ROBOT RECOVERY ON”, and it should also be highlighted yellow.
- Press the button that says “ROBOT SERVO ON”. Robot servo power should turn on, and the button should highlight green. If servo power is already on proceed to step 3.
- Press the button that says “ROBOT START”. The button should also highlight green, and the robot should slowly start moving straight up. When the robot has moved above any obstructions it will slowly move to a home position.
- Press the button that says “ROBOT RECOVERY ON”. The button should change state to read “ROBOT RECOVERY OFF”. In the case of a full auto system any partial pallet will be ejected and the robot will be ready to resume palletizing. In the case of a semi-auto system any partial pallets will need to be removed before resuming palletizing.
