The packaged chemicals industry encompasses a wide range of products, bag types and operational requirements.  Plastic resin plants require a durable Form, Fill and Seal poly bag run at fast rates 24 hours a day. Fertilizer plants often need to change formulations throughout the day to meet customer orders so their individual product runs tend to be shorter and require changes through the day. Calcium chloride facilities deal with the hygroscopic nature of their product as well as corrosive properties. Hamer-Fischbein has been packaging a wide variety of chemical products for over 15 years. All of our products are designed to meet speed, change over, corrosive or other specific requirements of the chemical industry. Often we are able to bring significant savings over traditional packaging when there is an opportunity to convert from traditional paper open mouth or paper valve bags to poly bags. Bag cost savings of over 20% is not uncommon and significant labor reductions are also attained. For applications where paper bags continue to be important, we offer a variety of manual and automated systems that reduce labor and improve plant productivity.
